Cream, red, cream, red.

tv tropes are amazing. This is the best website I've come across in a long, long time. Thank you Mr Sam Fluro for showing it to me. I could spend hours on it. Check out the sterotypical-but-not stuff man. It's oh so good, and it's oh so fine, and it's oh so healthy in it's body and it's mind. Also; I want to be a jockey. Those pants are really kick ass (but not really, because kicking a donkey is frowned apon)

Rockaway Beach.

That, belive it or not is an underwater river of hydrogen sulphide. The top photo is in the 30 meters of fresh water, and the bottom is 60 meters down in salt (fresh water flows over the salt water). So not only is there an island under the water (complete with a hydrogen sulohide beach), but there is also leaf and plant matter too! This explains how there's a beach in Spongebob Squarepants, that's for sure, and it's awesome. That's the sotry of the day. Mos' def.

CHURRR

Shakespeare; done. History; done. Classics; one third done. Life; awesome!

Raindrops falling on my head; that doesn't mean that I am dead.

Oh, wait, History assignment, did you feel me pwn you? Because I just wasted you! BOOYAH! :DD So here's some conflicting images. I'm in a conflicted mood (which is good).

Do you know what I know?

These remind me of my main man marmiteface. Mmmyeah. Damn straight. Twentysevennames is not only so chic it burns my eyes out, also amazingly awesome. And on that note, I want a beige raincoat that isn't made from Katmandu raincoat-slippery-material. Butter Not Bombs is a brilliant name for their winter collection.

This is what I think cyberspace would look like;

Take my hands out of my control.

I've only looked at the Profiles trilogy so far, but Bettina Von Zwehl
is actually amazing. Her photographs have this grace, and undeniable beauty that is awesome in the true sense of the word. To only see half of a person is to imply the other half is the same but diffrent. How diffrent? In what ways? Are there scars we as the viewer can't see? The way the photograhps are composed makes me happy too. It's so graceful, and so full of valour and potential engery.  If you haven't looked, go do it. It's really, really amazing, and humbling. For me anyway.

All the lightning's hitting the tress to-day.

I love finding awesome photographers on the vast interwebs

Playing with fire like aeeroplanees...

Quick. Before I forget the link. This photographer is something amazing. It's just my kind of thing. Understated, beautiful, actually kind of complex, but only if you stare at it enough.

dependency is not what you'd think.

I really like that photo. There's just something so pleasent about it (get it? like plea-sent? 'Cause it's called Dependency... har har har. I'm so funny I know). I like the font. I wonder what it is. I think that everything is chugging along nicely. I like having two studies. I like that I have actually worked quite hard on my history assignment the last week and I like that shoot (click the link? Churrr).  Life is like a box of chocolates, it's really sweet.

Thursday; I don't care about you.

images / JAK & JIL.

It's friday, I'm not in looooooove. Which is all good. Tres good. The heats for V48HOUR FILM FESTIVAL went well. Our film looked good up on the big screen, and the sound quailty was good. I enjoyed myself a lot. I also happen to think that guys should start to wear skirts. Nice skirts that look really cool, but still skirts. Why can't we play with the gender laws? I decided a little while ago that I'm only going to follow rules I agree with. I'm watching Project Runway, looking at JAK & JIL and blogging. Epic multitasking. JAK & JIL is tank as. I love it when you don't look at something for a while, then you go back to it, and realise why you liked it so much before.

I want to be the best I can be. Therefore, I'm going to give anything and everything I want to do, my all. The first thing, is to do the dishes. Once I've done that, I can do anything. I suggest you try it. Then we can all go some other place and become like the guys in the pictures below. Yay!

har har hardy har har

I heard a joke the other. I thought I should share it. Most of you have probably heard it before, but hte first time I heard it, I was on the floor. It was probably the totally deadpan-I'm-going-to-kill-myself-after-this-because-its-actaully-horrid delievery. Here it is anyway; What does half an orange look like? The other half! Ba-boom-boom-cish. Joke fail? Doubt it.

This will all blow over in time.

It's so satisfying knowing that you've got a plan. Knowing what I'm going to go home and do, and how much time till whatever's due is due. Gosh, I'm so poetic. My relaxed, calm and in control mood is only helped because the man who sings the song that playing on my ipod just said; It's all alright. Therefore, I believe you
oooo-ing man. The song is called New Houses, by Two Door Cinema Club. Good stuff? Good stuff.

Oh it is love

I want to live in a 1940 noir film.

Thunderbolt Kids!

I have just finished forty eight hours of furious film making. The product of the labours of our (Thunderbolt kids for the mega win) is amazing. I will put it up once it has been shown at the heats. The above film is the runner-up from last year. It has been a rocket filled, hyped, beautiful, stressful, tired, angry, joyus, blissful, snuggly, wonderful and justly fantastic weekend. Big thank you, and much love to all that helped, cooked and stood about being awesome.

Thinking about Body Of Lies.

Why do people think danger is attractive? It doesn't make much sense. I keep thinking we've gotten over the primal instinct. But we haven't really. It's reall odd. Well, not really. Survival and all that jazz, but it drives me nuts. It was never cool to kill, hurt or make someone uphappy.

Cuteville. The suburb of Nuplex.

So. I've decided to create a place called Cuteville. Where cute things live (clearly). This is me dipping into my teenage girl-ness. This place is Nuplex. Ohh yeah.

Otter. Otters. Gosh darn the are so cute. It's amazing. They are just so cuddley and tres sweet. There is something quite calming. Or atleast I think so. They just ooze wonderfulness. Now, I'm hurrying back to my photography homework. Oh yeah man. I'm that cool. Also, there is a picture of a seal. I'm on a 'things that live in water sometimes, not often, just sometimes' kind of theme here.

Support is a two way street!

Today has been a day of... things. Nine hours of transit and not much thought to be honest. I'm tired, I can feel the bags under my eyes deepen, and I'm looking up photos of Cassie from seris one and two of skins. No, I haven't seen it, but I like her already. I never got into Skins. Yes. I am my father's daughters. Someone lend me the first and second seris when I can't sleep. I'll leave you with some mint as new years resolutions, and pictures I've found of Cassie (I don't know the name of the actor. How embrassing) and some other things.

Blog of revelations; 2

"I'm having as much fun as a monkey" - Che Guevara.

No, really, what do you want to do before you die?

I'm having as much fun as a monkey!

As I sit here, listening to a brillaint lecture (which is imformative and really funny) by Mark Steel. I recommend it. Greatly. It's real funny. He takes the piss, but in a good way. Another thing that makes me happy is the below picture of Audrey Hepburn. I love her.

Sunshine

Movies I think are good (in no order); Waltz With Bashir. Capote. Inglorious Basterds. Pulp Fiction. Heavenly Creatures.  Goodbye Pork Pie. All the Starwars. All the Star Trek movies too. South Park movie. Team America. Amelie. The Daft Punk movie (I can't remember it's name). Monty Python and The Holy Grail. There's more, I just can't remember them. Does it please and sparkles? Sunshine.

Housie.

Not much is really happening. Life is pretty much sweet as bro. The video above is Sweat X - Nuflex Cowabunga. It's intense. Well, kind of. It's sort of hard to listen to, because it jumps, skips and the time signatures change real erratically.  I was reading the Red Bull magazine thing the other day (you know, because I'm well cool), and it had a review of these guys. Actually, Sweat X is two guys. A rapper and a DJ. In one of their live videos, the DJ is wearing a top hat. you can't get much cooler than coming from Capetown, and wearing a tophat. Sweat X is phat boi! I'd be keen to play housie with them. That's for sure.

I feel watered down, whenever he's around.

"Imagine a city where graffiti wasn't illegal, a city where everybody draw whatever they liked. Where every street was awash with a million colours and little phrases. Where standing at a bus stop was never boring. A city that felt like a party where everyone was invited, not just the estate agents and barons of big business. Imagine a city like that and stop leaning against the wall - it's wet." - Banksy.

Thanks Mya for the idea (for using the quote and then images as well). I brought a jacket that looks like the Stolen Girlfriend Club jacket with the demin vest, then fake leather sleeves. It's quite small, but it makes me happy. I also got a pair of grey jeans that are fitter. They have an exter layer of demin over the knee, and a 3 inch zip at the bottom of each leg. They're rad. I have Marina and The Diamonds, and we're going to ohmnomnum up pasta for dinner. Mmmyeah. I love my life.
